Formed from the same DNA as its big siblings XTR and DEORE XT, the SLX delivers quality and performance to all those who discover the passion for mountain biking that only SHIMANO can guarantee at this level.

A powerful grip

The new SLX comes with a choice of a two-piston brake for cross-country or a four-piston brake for trail/enduro riding. The redesigned brake lever, mounted at an angle and thus supported at two points on the handlebar, significantly increases stiffness, resulting in more direct feedback and greater braking power. This is further enhanced by SERVO WAVE technology. The brake systems are therefore characterized by faster response, higher performance, and shorter lever throw.
