The Shimano ULTEGRA R8100 series side-pull brakes impress with their precise feel and excellent balance of stiffness, weight, and braking power. Despite increased tire clearance for cross-sections up to 28mm, the design remains impressively slim. The brake calipers are available with traditional and direct mounting options.

SLR-EV
The SLR-EV is an SLR with a symmetrical dual-pivot side-pull brake. The short-arm brake design uses two bearings and a roller to achieve greater efficiency in the pivot area, providing superior modulation and braking power. Combined with the BC-9000 brake cable, the latest calipers offer 36% more stopping power than the previous Shimano brake model. We offer versions with a symmetrical dual-axis caliper body, as well as versions for fork and chainstay mounting.
