PolyX Breaker – Cut and stab resistant
With the PolyX Breaker®, Continental brings its passenger car expertise to the bicycle tire segment: Polyester has been used successfully in car tires for years and has proven its worth many times over. The extremely durable polyester fiber is woven tightly in a cross-hatch pattern. This results in a very high fabric density, making the breaker not only resistant to foreign objects but also particularly puncture-resistant. The PolyX Breaker® does not negatively affect rolling resistance.

DuraSkin – can take a beating
Tires with DuraSkin® sidewall protection are built to withstand serious abuse. They’re used in the most demanding conditions. On messenger bikes, the tires slide along curbs; on touring bikes, they cross continents without wearing through; and in racing, they have to withstand grueling tests like Paris-Roubaix. The high-quality polyamide fabric reliably protects the tire’s sidewall and prepares it for the ultimate challenges. These tires stand out from the crowd thanks to their distinctive brown sidewall.
