GS1 Rival XPLR E1: Gravel racing on the next level
Imagine flying through corners, effortlessly climbing steep climbs and conquering gravel trails at pure speed. The GS1 with the SRAM Red XPLR makes this possible. The highly modular carbon frame is 150 g lighter than the previous generation. You can feel the power with every pedal stroke. The SRAM Rival XPLR AXS E1 rear derailleur delivers precise 1×13 gears for any terrain. Aero optimization and internal cable routing ensure minimal resistance. You’ll be addicted to the flow.
Easier. Simpler. More precise. The new GS1 gravel bike is built for one thing – speed.
Shaped by a passion for speed, the third generation of the GS1 Ventum is the clearest expression yet of what a gravel bike should be: simple, fast and focused.
To make it faster, tire clearance has been increased, weight reduced and aerodynamics improved – all without compromising on the most important thing: handling.
What hasn’t changed? The geometry. The proven Ventum Race Geometry has been retained – aggressive, with a compact rear triangle and stable steering behavior. Integrating wide tires – especially at the rear – is a real challenge for the design. Many manufacturers have compromised handling in favor of tire clearance. Ventum did not.
This version of the GS1 gravel bike is equipped with the high-end SRAM Rival XPLR E1 13-speed drivetrain and ZIPP 303 XPLR S wheels.
Fast and yet stable. Agile and yet predictable. It combines the speed of a road bike with the off-road capability of a gravel bike. A bike for anyone who wants to ride further and faster.
Highlights
- Full carbon frame with complete internal cable routing
- Completely new front end: Inspired by the new Tempus TT bike, the hourglass-shaped head tube uses functional airfoil profiles to optimize airflow over the rider and bike.
- Ventum Race geometry
- Wider is better: The new GS1 offers space for tires up to 700x56c at the front and 700x50c at the rear – more than enough for today’s coarser and wider gravel tires.
- SRAM Rival XPLR AXS E1 1×13-speed drivetrain, electronic, wireless
- ZIPP 303 XPLR S Carbon Gravel-Race wheels improve aerodynamics
